Founded in Osaka, Japan in 1921, Japan Koyo bearings has become the world’s third largest producer of bearings with 16 manufacturing sites and 53 offices in 18 countries. Their 1996 worldwide sales exceeded £1,630 million and much of this revenue is derived from their strength in the automotive field. Their primary product strengths include ball and taper roller bearings, needle roller bearings, water pump spindle bearings, clutch release bearings, miniature bearings and hub units with ABS sensors.
As one of the 18 Sales Bases around the world, Japan Koyo bearings Limited serve the bearings and steering systems markets, supplying both automotive and industrial manufacturers as well as the aftermarket sector.
The custom built bearings sales and distribution office, based in Milton Keynes, comprises a warehouse of over 4,000 square meters and office facilities of over 1,000 square meters and has support from Koyo's European Central Office in Holland, linked by a global SAP system.
